Goondiwindi’s annual polocrossse carnival was held on the weekend with a record 48 teams competing.
This is the biggest carnival Goondiwindi has hosted since the State Titles many years ago.
The grounds were abuzz with horses, riders and spectators. The weather was a little chilly on Saturday but warmed up in time for the finals on Sunday.
The A grade final was won by Warwick on Sunday afternoon with a great display of skills and riding ability. The carnival was a huge success and a great way to spend the weekend.
“We had great support from spectators and from our sponsor Tait Auto Group,” Club Secretary/Tresurer Michelle Smith said.
