The man who loves his motorbike but loves taking photographs even more, is a self-taught craftsman who is receiving recognition from the highest levels.

Wayne was recently recognise for his dedication to his craft and business with a certificate of full membership to the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP).

Earning full membership to the AIPP is no mean feat.

First, and foremost a photographer’s work has to be of very high standard and consistent. Secondly, two working professionals within the AIPP are required to nominate and sponsor an applicant for full membership.

Third, and finally after further assessment, a decision is made as to whether the standard and quality of an applicant’s photography is good enough to be accepted into the institute.

Over the past year Wayne has been finding time out of his busy schedule at Callandoon Studios to attend national photographic workshops to further his abilities.

High profile professional photographers who facilitated these workshops readily recognized his potential and pointed Wayne in the right direction.

The door of opportunity opened.

Wayne has been invited to assist top portrait and wedding photographer/s on location. His acquired knowledge and experience in photography was also recognized when he was called upon to help in some of the teaching at photographic seminars that he has attended.

The highlight of full membership to the AIPP for Wayne was being recognized and sponsored by Rob Heyman, a triple master in photography, national judge and international teacher, and Jason Starr who is also a recognized international speaker and award winner.

Wayne is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities provided by the AIPP, and using his skills in providing a first rate and professional service to Goondiwindi and regional areas.
