Col was one of three people selected as the winners of a Suncorp and AgForce Ekka competition to meet rugby great Shane Webcke at the Suncorp and AgForce Ekka BBQ yesterday evening.
Col has always been a huge fan of the Broncos so he was naturally pretty excited to be announced as a winner. The other two people to win the competition were brothers from Nanango, Lindsey and Peter Blanch.
Col went to the VIP area and met Shane straight after the BBQ, so he didn’t have time to get nervous.
Shane Webcke is the Suncorp SunWise and Every Family Needs A Farmer ambassador.
He spoke at the special event about the importance of sun safety and the Every Family Needs a Farmer campaign during an informal question and answer session following the cattle judging competition.
