Cocktails by the river

14/05/2008 11:41:00 AM
Cocktails by the River, it certainly sounds enticing and the youngest members of the Goondiwindi Queensland Cancer Council promises it will be a night to remember.

The night is Saturday May 24, the venue is The Golden Age Centre, and the fun will begin at 6.30pm with a selection of exotic cocktails, but, if that doesn’t take your fancy, the usual will be available at the bar.

The award winning four-piece band “The Volty Strings” will be playing and if their reputation is anything to go by, it will be hard to resist the call of the dance floor.

Happy hour will be between 7pm and 8pm and the $30 tickets will include a drink on arrival, endless horsd’oeuvres, music and live entertainment. Tickets can be purchased at the Royal Hotel. Lucky door packages for both men and women will be given out throughout the night. There are a limited number of tickets available, so get in quick.
